For more than 25 years, I have worked as a marketing, development, communications, design, event, and fundraising professional, bringing countless projects from concept to reality. But when asked what I do for a living, I tell people I’m a storyteller.

Storyteller Maven started as Events Maven, a nod to my early career focus on events, from managing and producing events and fundraising galas at amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, to leading marketing and communications strategy and events at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York. Along the way, I have also contributed my skills to the Coalition for the Homeless and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and I co-founded Art4Now, an arts education nonprofit that created opportunities for students in underserved communities to express themselves through art.

My professional journey began at Pallotta TeamWorks, which created the California AIDSRide (most recently AIDS/LifeCycle). There, I helped support and empower event participants riding and walking in multi-day cycling and walking events, like the Tanqueray AIDSRides and AVON Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks, raising money for AIDS-service organizations, AIDS research, and breast cancer research.

Nowadays, I primarily work with arts and culture organizations on the West Coast to promote their programs and events. Current and recent clients include Silicon Valley Shakespeare, Silicon Valley Gay Men’s Chorus, Voices of Silicon Valley, and the award-winning choir, The Choral Project. I have also worked with the City of Palo Alto, Palo Alto Art Center, Palo Alto Art Center Foundation, Bay Area Glass Institute, National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy, YMCA of Silicon Valley, Napa & Sonoma Relief Fund, and Peace of Mind Dog Rescue.

I am always looking for new opportunities to build marketing initiatives and fundraising strategies that transform brands, grow businesses, and enrich lives.
