For more than 25 years, I've helped nonprofit organizations connect with audiences, strengthen their brands, and raise money. But when people ask what I do, I give a much simpler answer.

I'm a storyteller.

More accurately, I discover stories.

I believe every organization already has compelling stories. My job is finding them, shaping them, and sharing them.

Storyteller Maven began as Events Maven, a nod to my early career producing fundraising galas and special events for organizations like amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, and New York's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. Along the way, I also contributed to the Coalition for the Homeless and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and co-founded Art4Now, an arts education nonprofit that empowered students in underserved communities to express themselves through art.

My professional journey began at Pallotta TeamWorks, where I supported participants in multi-day fundraising events benefiting AIDS service organizations and vaccine research, and breast cancer organizations. Those experiences taught me that successful fundraising isn't simply about asking people to give. It's about telling stories that inspire them to care.

Today, I primarily partner with nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, helping them discover the stories that connect people to their mission. Current and recent collaborations include Silicon Valley Shakespeare, The Choral Project, Voices of Silicon Valley, the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation, the National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy, Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus, and other organizations committed to enriching communities.
